Daily Affirmations to Help Boost Self Esteem and Well-Being

Daily affirmations can be a great way to boost your self-esteem and help you stay positive. Affirmations are positive statements that remind you of your worth and help to counteract any negative thoughts you might be having. They can help to remind you of the strengths and positive qualities you possess and help you to focus on the good. Research has shown that when people repeat positive affirmations on a regular basis, they can become more confident and have higher self-esteem. So if you find yourself struggling with low self-esteem, consider using daily affirmations to help build your confidence.

 

Therapy Challenge:



Below is a list of 30 affirmations. Each day pick your favorite 3 from the list or create your own. Write them down in a journal or on your mirror (dry erase markers). Then practice reciting them in the morning and evening out loud.


Check in with yourself: How does it make you feel? Is it uncomfortable being this kind to yourself? What stops you from creating this positivity in your life? After a week of daily affirmations, how has your mood changed?


  1. I am in control of my life and I create my own destiny.

  2. I am worthy of love, abundance and joy.

  3. I am capable of achieving anything I set my mind to.

  4. I will make a positive difference in the world.

  5. I have the power to choose how I respond in any situation.

  6. I am strong and capable of overcoming any obstacle.

  7. I have the courage to take risks and try new things.

  8. I will trust in my own intuition and inner wisdom.

  9. I am open to new possibilities and opportunities.

  10. I will let go of worrying and focus on the present.

  11. I will be kind and compassionate towards myself and others.

  12. I will focus on what I have and be grateful for it.

  13. I will take responsibility for my actions and words.

  14. I will take the time to nurture my relationships.

  15. I will be open to learning from others.

  16. I will take care of my physical and mental health.

  17. I will strive to make a positive impact on every situation.

  18. I will create a life of balance and harmony.

  19. I will be mindful of my thoughts and emotions.

  20. I will make time for the things that bring joy and happiness.
